What You’ll Do

Develop probabilistic modeling or ML platform for data-driven model discovery.

Create computational pipelines that automate the design-build-test-learn cycle for precision design of microbial strains.

Collaborate frequently with the Metabolic Engineering and Synthetic Biology teams to optimize sugar polymer biosynthesis pathways in the production strains.

Communicate methods and results both internally with the team and externally with other scientists, industry executives, and academic researchers.
​

Contribute to the generation and documentation of intellectual property

Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.

3+ years of research experience in an academic or industry lab setting.

Skilled in software development, ML techniques, and probabilistic modelling.

Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.

Large-scale data analysis expertise.
​

Experience in -omics, synthetic biology, and molecular biology is a plus.
