What You’ll Do

  • Develop probabilistic modeling or ML platform for data-driven model discovery.

  • Create computational pipelines that automate the design-build-test-learn cycle for precision design of microbial strains. 

  • Collaborate frequently with the Metabolic Engineering and Synthetic Biology teams to optimize sugar polymer biosynthesis pathways in the production strains.

  • Communicate methods and results both internally with the team and externally with other scientists, industry executives, and academic researchers.

  • Contribute to the generation and documentation of intellectual property

Who You are

  • Passionate about sustainability

  • Excited to be part of a fast-paced startup

  • Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.

  • 3+ years of research experience in an academic or industry lab setting.

  • Skilled in software development, ML techniques, and probabilistic modelling.


  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.

  •  Large-scale data analysis expertise.

  • Experience in -omics, synthetic biology, and molecular biology is a plus.
